  1. Based on the information in chapter 6, would you prefer to teach in a classroom that had more or less digital technologies? Why or why not?
I learned there are a lot of ways you can use technology in the classroom from chapter six. You can use digital cameras microphones, scanners, touch screens, projection screens, speakers and much more. I am going into physical education so for me personally I believe I would use less technology than most other classrooms. I would love to use a projection screen sometimes to show the students the correct way to do an activity we are beginning to work on. I can also use speakers to make sure everyone can hear me in the large gym. I believe I would use more technology in my gym then teachers I know today because there are a lot of really fascinating was to implement new technology but,I believe that for physical education it is more of a get up and move kind of class so I would not use as much technology.

For both audio and visual technologies, identify one traditional and one emerging technology from the book, and explain how you could potentially use all four devices in the classroom. Post your responses on your blog page you created for this class.
An audio traditional technology is the audiocassettes. You can use this in the classroom for physical education by playing the audiocassettes and have your students keep up with the tempo of the audiocassette.
For audio emerging technology you could have your students listen to internet radio. For an assignment in physical education you could have your students listen to a sports channel and talk about that sport.
For a visual traditional technology you can use an overhead projector in a classroom. This way the students can see what you are writing on a larger scale.
For a visual emerging technology you could use a document camera. As your students in physical education are doing an activity you can show them how the class looks doing it at the same time.
